Wow….. I don’t know who upset Mother Nature but you sure made her mad and and made her cry! It’s been a soggy,windy, cold couple of days here in what’s normally sunny San Diego. I am freezing! It’s good taking public transportation because it saves money and helps the environment and all that, but at the same time, it sucks during bad weather conditions! Where I work in San Diego is pretty much in between Fashion Valley and Mission Valley… which is..(derrrrr) in the Valley. It becomes a bunch of rivers and lakes when the rain comes. So I spent my journey to work jumping through puddlings and getting freeeezzzing cold and wet. I lucked out on my way to work this morning but it caught up with me waiting for the trolley and bus today. I was confined to my work all day today and couldn’t run any errands today because of the weather. So I’ll have to get everything done tomorrow IF we get a break. There’s rain coming for the next two days including possible thunderstorms on Thursday really? I just saw that on my forecasfox. Wow. Yeah whoever ticked off Mother Nature, the rest of us here would like you to know that you suck. You suck very much. Thank you. That is all

Starting off on a pretty good note. I’m feeling pretty good about things at the moment. When I don’t stress so much over things I have no control over right now, life is actually feeling pretty fantastic. I’m enjoying my 3 day weekend and I enjoyed having someone to spend it with. Yep, I’ve met someone. We went on our first date yesterday and spent some time together today. I had such a good time. I can’t stop thinking about her and things. I’m hopeful. It feels good knowing that the one I’m thinking about is probably thinking about me too. It makes me realize that maybe I do get to have the chance at life and happiness. Here’s to making 2010 the best year ever and having someone amazing to spend it with.

What a long week it has been. I can’t believe tomorrow is FINALLY Friday. It has been such a busy week at work.
Tomorrow is going to be a very busy day. I have a dr. appointment at 7:30 tomorrow morning. Follow up regarding my insomnia,back pain, anxiety, sugar levels, and a couple other issues. Not a mega appointment but I get nervous anyway. When I’m done at the dr’s office I have to go straight to work and get as much done as posisble. I’ve got a lot on my plate there right now and whatever time I miss in the morning is going to make for that much of a crazier afternoon for me. After work I’m going to the Sprint store to get a new phone and service. I had service with my mom’s acct. but due to issues she couldn’t control our AT&T account got canceled. Very unhappy about that because the brand new 2-3 month old Blackberry I bought is useless to me now. I spent over $400 on it and will be lucky if I’m able to sell it for half. Though there isn’t a thing wrong with it. I hate to let it go but I can’t use it anywhere anymore. I haven’t been able to get approved for an account anywhere but Sprint so it’s either that or pay as you go forever and I’d rather not. That gets expensive too so I might as well try to have my own service again.

After that I’ll get dinner somewhere then head home. I’ve got a 3 day weekend so hopefully it’ll be put to good use. I really need to get a lot of stuff done around my room..laundry…bathroom… ugh…. I want this to be a good weekend…. a fun weekend… a restful weekend….and a productive weekend.. Now to get through one more night…..

For the past couple days I’ve been feeling very nostalgic. I don’t really know why. I’ll be on the computer not really doing much of anything which causes me to get bored. So I start wandering through old sites I used to go to, old lj entries, I even found a xanga I used to blog on. This in turn makes me head to You Tube to view these nostalgic things in video form. Right now I’m getting my fix of a band I used to be obsessed with, Savage Garden. Every single song has a hidden memory for me. Many I choose to keep to myself. Some make me giggle. I remember when I Want You was popular. 97….. right around the time my best friend at the time and I went to the Florida State Fair and had a bit of an infatuated stalker fest with the diving team. Ha Ha! Who couldn’t forget the ever catchy line “Like a chicka cherry cola!” *giggles* Oh what happened to songs like that! To the Moon and Back! The ever uber icky sweet Truly Madly Deeply, then later songs like I Knew I Loved You Affirmation, The Animal Song etc etc etc….. I was pretty sad to see Savage Garden go buhbye but was still captivated by Darren Hayes’ voice. Ah…………. memories……. Some songs were rather therapeutic for me (Crash and Burn, 2 Beds and a Coffee Machine) some were quite the mood builders (Universe) some weren’t as catchy as others (Tears of Pearls) but they all hold a special place in my heart anyway.

I’ve been meaning to actually work on the site adding plugins and working on a layout for months now yet it’s sat in the same state for too long. I’m going to make myself devote more time to customization as well as actual blogging. I’m also going to work on the blogroll. So if you’d like to exchange links please comment below. I’m trying to think of ways to make it more interesting, I’ve fallen out of the whole site/blogging thing for so long. Suggestions?
